Coolant Fill
This equipment is designed to provide a comprehensive leak check of the cooling system, deliver an accurate mixture of coolant, and consistently fill the system to the level or quantity required. In order to ensure the system is leak free, it is tested under system specific pressure and vacuum requirements. Coolant is continually mixed and monitored to maintain specified ratios. Radiator, overfill bottle and cooling system can be pressure or volume filled. Multi coolant systems can be tooled for different tanks and configured for multiple fill locations. With our DataServ software, all processing parameters are loaded automatically and results are recorded and stored for future analysis or reference. These systems are designed to increase product quality, improve process control, eliminate production errors, and provide feedback for product and process improvement.

Power Steering & Clutch Fill
Power steering and clutch systems are sealed systems that require similar testing and filling procedures. Fluid preparation and system evacuation and testing are standard steps in both fluid filling operations. Serv-I-Quip’s proven technology, automated process setup, data storage and analysis, and custom tooling offer increased production quality, improved process control, and remote access to machine operation. These systems are available as DataFill or AccuFill, equipped with fluid preparation, and configured as simple base station systems or as motor driven, VFD controlled, overhead rail mounted consoles with automated tool placement.

Transmission, Engine Oil & Axle Fill
Serv-I-Quip oil filling equipment is designed to provide complete oil preparation and an accurate reservoir fill of engine, axle, hubs, or transmission systems. Heating and filtering is the standard preparation process for these oils. Fill tool fixturing varies according to reservoir openings and position. Also available is a variable fill / top-off process that accommodates a vendor pre-fill or residual from testing of engines or transmissions. The same process, production and quality control advantages we’ve built into all our systems, a choice between DataFill and AccuFill, and configuration options from stop station to VFD, motorized, track mounted console, are all available with this equipment.

Diesel Fuel / DEF Fill
Serv-I-Quip’s Diesel Fuel Fill Systems offer an automated and safe process to fill diesel fuel systems. Fuel is filtered, pumped, pressure regulated, dispensed, and automatically scavenged back to supply tank.
This maintains a closed process loop, eliminating spillage and manual filling. Our automated fuel primer sequence fills the fuel lines and primes the fuel pump, prepping the engine for starting and eliminating an otherwise manual process. These systems are available as DataFill or AccuFill, and with configuration options to meet your process requirements.
Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is an additive used by engine manufacturers to reduce Nitrous Oxide emissions in truck and bus exhaust. Adding DEF Fill to fuel fill equipment delivers the same filling accuracy and traceability benefits inherent in all our fluid fill systems. Combining Diesel and DEF fill with the primer function consolidates the fuel fill process into one area. Control, production data and quality analysis are also consolidated.

Multi-Fluid Fill
Today’s mixed product/model assembly lines often require that multiple fluid options be available at the engine, transmission and coolant filling stations. The vehicle build menu will itemize a particular coolant, engine oil, or gear box fluid type, depending on the end user climate, environment or transmission type. Serv-I-Quip can economically and efficiently address this process requirement with a single fill system. We have been able to accommodated up to 8 different fluids at a single fill location.
The key to managing this multi-fill process is the utilization of our DataServ process control software. With DataServ, the operator can automatically load the correct test and fill recipe, monitor each process, and record results for each vehicle. We have provided these systems as stop stations or overhead tracking modules. This is just another example of the value Serv-I-Quip brings to our customers.
